Pin It Now!

I'm linking up with From Mrs. To Mama to give you the 411 on me! Lucky you.

Here is the list of questions Becky provided. You can find my answers below. Hopefully you learn a thing or two about me. I can't wait to read all of yours so I can learn more about you too!

1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
3. Where have you traveled?
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
6. What is your favorite movie?
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.

11. What day would you love to relive again?

12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you?

13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?

14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
16. Show us the most current picture of you or you and your family.
17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?

1. I have been blogging since June 4, 2012. That's just a little over a month! I have been overwhelmed by all the bloggy love. I truly am loving every minute of it. The Mr. got me started. He has been pushing me for quite awhile and one day I took the leap. He truly is my biggest fan; I wouldn't have it any other way! My blog just got a face lift. I absolutely love the redesign {hopefully you do too}.

2. I attended a Tech School straight out of High School where I studied Accounting. Turns out I hate Accounting. Anything beyond balancing a checkbook is dreadful to me. I stuck out a few semesters, but I wasn't happy. The only reason I went was to abide by "the world's standards" and because "that's just what you do after High School".  I learned I don't need to find my self worth or confidence in a higher education. All in all I am happy with my decision. It lead me to where I am today and I know this is the place God wants me.

3. Oh my goodness, I traveled quite a bit as a kid and lived in a few different states {parents were both in the Army}. I was born in North Carolina, so I have lived there as well as Hawaii, {sis was born there}, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. I have been to New Zealand {::waves hi to New Zealand readers::}, Kwajalein, {no joke I didn't make that word up} Colorado, New York City, Upstate New York, Florida {three times, once at Disney World}, Texas {a few different times}, Alaska {three times}, Illinois {Chicago}, Tennessee, Iowa, Kentucky. I think I got them all.

4. If I won the lottery the first thing I would do {not buy} is tithe. So that would be a $100,000 check written out to our church. Then, I can't say I would buy something. I would make our dream of adoption and building a home in the country a much quicker reality. That's for darn sure.

5. Pet peeves. That's a tough one. The first one that comes to mind is when people interrupt others while talking. Rude. I know, you're wondering if I expect people to raise their hands before speaking or something crazy like that. For the record I don't. Now, sometimes it accidentally happens {and that's okay}, but I am talking about the habitual interrupters. I really don't like unclean homes or cars. Yuck. I was informed by my sister that I hate when people put their knees on the back of a car seat I am sitting in.

6. Favorite movie, of all time? Gosh. I have one for each genre. How about the movies I have watched the most times? Italian Job, Serendipity, or How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. Those three have had equal screen time. Oldies, but goodies.

7. I love water. Summer, Fall, Spring, or Winter I drink it all the time. Not a soda drinker at all, only at birthday parties, weddings, etc. I live on the wild side. Otherwise chai, lattes {iced or hot}, mochas {iced or hot}, and caramel or coconut hot chocolate. All made with almond milk. Yummy.

8. One word. Target. Even if I don't need anything. Target. Even if I just want to push a red cart around. Target. Even if I feel like surrounding myself with khaki and red. Target. Even if I want to play dress up in the dressing room. Target. Even if the Fur Baby wants a new toy, but destroys them anyway. Target. Target. Target. Target. Got it?

9. Really? Did you even need to ask? Target.

10. Once in High School {ninth grade I believe} I split my pants open in the cafeteria. Right down the butt crack. And, the worst part? I was wearing white granny panties that day. I was a shade of red you can't even imagine.

11. Hands down, my wedding day. I would do it all over again and change everything, except the man waiting at the end of the aisle for me. {Cue awwwww's here} See, I was a fresh 20 year old and the things I like then I do not like so much now. For instance, a white gown? No way. Cream all the way. And I would do trash the dress pictures for sure.

12. I'll give you the answer I know my Dad would say. Anne Hathaway. He tells me all the time we look alike. Fine with me. What a self esteem boost. Love you Dad {I know you are reading this}.

13. My first job was forced upon me. I was not ready to enter the real world. I was 18. I applied at Georgetown Cleaners and got hired on the spot. I worked there for 2 or 3 days and then quit. I wasn't cut out for the dirty work. Plus, I was scared to work alone at night. Wuss. Then I got the best job ever at a local coffee shop. I was still 18, but I found my niche. Someday I hope to work in one again. After I birth and raise babies and they are off learning in school, maybe.

14. The Mr. and I when we were 19 years old.

15. That's easy. Israel.

16. The most recent picture of us, taken July 15, 2012.

17. Five years from now I see us celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. Woah. That means by then we should have a couple kiddos of our own running around. Maybe we'll have started our adoption or perhaps have our beautiful boy or girl in the States with us. I see us moving to the country to enjoy the simplicity it brings and continuing to cherish each other and every day we are given.

  1. Love me some Target too. It is impossible to leave there with only what was on my list. And I would also want to relive my wedding day. Glad I found your blog!

  2. Love this post! Oh how I love Target! Everything you could possibly need is at that store.

  3. How neat! Both parents in the army! We live near fort Bragg cuz my hubs in is the army! Love this post!

  4. I love that the first thing you would do with the lottery money is tithe. So great :) And you and your husband are tooo adorable! Love your blog layout!

  5. super fun. and y'all are so cute!

  6. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favorite movies ever! I could quote most of the movie from memory. Also Target? Yes! Best store to buy everything under the sun!

  7. So interesting that you are going to adopt.. I hope to hear more about that soon!
