When the Mr. and I got married I inherited a bunch of brand new furniture, furniture he picked out a year prior. He has pretty decent taste when it comes to decorating and furnishing a home, especially for a dude.
However, the one thing I have wanted to change since the day we said I do was our kitchen table chairs. A couple months ago we did just that. I don't know what took us so long. We had a blast working together on a project and it only took up a portion of a morning on a lazy Saturday.
Have you been thinking about recovering your kitchen or dining room table chairs? It is so simple. Here's what you'll need.
DIY Chair Recovering
Staple gun and staples
We took one of the seats into the fabric store so the lady cutting the fabric could tell me exactly how much fabric to get. We were also able to borrow my Grandpa's staple gun which was a huge blessing. This project only cost us the price of material, which we bought half off at Hobby Lobby. I believe the grand total was somewhere in the ball park of $25.00.
Once again I'm asking myself why we waited so long to do this. No more dingy, stained cream chairs. We love the finished product!
